The iControl desk will often send you messages to tell
you about new services, features, TV channels and movies. A
window overlay will appear briefly to tell you that an incoming message
has been received. If you want to ignore it, press NO and the message window
closes. However, if you want to see the message, select YES and the incoming
message opens.
If you have pressed NO, you can see the incoming message
whenever you want to by pressing the MENU button on your remote and selecting
the TALK icon. A TALK main screen opens. Select MESSAGES and a MESSAGES
main screen opens. This window will inform you of any messages you may have
received.
To see messages, select the INCOMING messages button
and a list of incoming messages will open. An envelope icon will appear
with any message that you haven't seen. To see it, select the message.
Youcan now reply to the message or forward it to anybody else. Similarly,
you can also compose a message and send it to either a name in your address
book or to a telephone number.
Remember that messaging is possible only from one iControl set top box
to another.
