   Job Description :

- Responsible for overall purchase function of the company - forecasting demand for marketing and products to meet the business needs - conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality. - identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them. - negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided. - giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth. - developing an organisations purchasing strategy - develop systems for e procurement - evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors

   Desired Profile :

Significant previous procurement experience with responsibility for delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings. - Experience of leading procurement department for a multi product and multi locational manufacturing company - Strong leadership in a complex environment with a high level of uncertainty around predicted or future demand SKILLS - good oral and written communication skills - analytical skills - commercial awareness - ability to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships - a flair for negotiation and networking - the ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines - Excellent team management and people skills are essential. - Ability to negotiate at the highest levels with suppliers
